Traveling by car
From Manhattan's West Side
Going north on the Henry Hudson Parkway, take exit 21 and turn left onto 246th Street. Continue on 246th Street and turn left onto Independence Avenue. The temple is immediately on your right.
From Manhattan's East Side, Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island
Going north on the Major Deegan Expressway, take the 230th Street exit. Turn left on 230th Street, right on Broadway, and left onto 231st Street. At 231st Street and Riverdale Avenue turn right and proceed up the hill. Continue on Riverdale Avenue going north. It becomes the service road to the Henry Hudson Parkway. At 246th Street, turn left and continue to the stop sign at Independence Avenue. Turn left onto Independence Avenue. The temple is immediately on your right.
From points north
Traveling south on the Saw Mill River Parkway, take the 246th street exit. At the light make a right turn onto 246th street. Continue straight to the stop sign. Turn left and the temple will be on your immediate right.
Traveling by public transportation
By Bus
The Bx7, Bx10, and Bx20 buses all stop at 246th Street and Henry Hudson Parkway. At 246th Street, turn left and continue to the stop sign at Independence Avenue. Turn left onto Independence Avenue. The temple is immediately on your right.
Express Buses
The BxM1 and BxM2 also stop at 246th Street and Henry Hudson Parkway.
By Subway
Take the Number 1 train to 231st Street and change to the Bx7, Bx10, or Bx20 bus. Follow directions above.
